Does your next event need bagpipes? I have extensive experience performing for weddings, funerals, birthday parties, Robert Burns suppers, graduations, and any other event you can imagine! I'm available to play anywhere between Denver and Cheyenne. Contact me and I will help you work out the best way to incorporate pipes into your next event.
Recitals
I would be happy to play in your bagpipe recital! I can incorporate a variety of traditional and modern music to suit the event, complete with stories about the tunes and my experience playing them.
Informational Presentations
I can develop an informational sessions for schools or community groups to give an introduction to the instrument and its music. The presentation, of course, involves a kilt and lots of piping!
Instruction
Solo Piping
Have you always wanted to learn to play pipes? Do you currently play and want to take your playing to the next level? I teach students both in person and on the internet via Zoom, emphasizing technique and musicality to improve your performances in light music and piobaireachd competitions.
Band Instruction
I also teach bands, focusing on such vital band skills as instrument setup and maintenance, tuning, selecting and learning music, and unison playing. Let me use my experience as a pipe major to improve your band.
Smallpipes and Session Music
I've recently gotten into bellows-blown smallpipes and session music, and will be happy to work with you on the basics.
